Our wing foil courses are especially suitable for you if you simply wish to belong to those who will master this new sport first, if the constantly hip-pulling kite sail inspires a degree of caution in you, or if you need to protect your back for health reasons.

The decisive advantage of learning this fascinating trend sport — compared to kitesurfing — lies in the fact that the equipment immediately becomes entirely pressure-free when the student falls into the water. This characteristic makes wing foiling particularly attractive to children and adolescents.

Unlike conventional wave surfing, however, one uses a sail-like device — the so-called “wing” — which allows the surfer to glide over the water on their board, much like in windsurfing. Yet, in this case, the surfer’s own body fulfills the function of the mast in windsurfing, as it enables the transfer of pressure from the wing to the foilboard. The specialized fin, called the “foil,” which is attached beneath the board, generates lift at a certain speed due to its unique shape, causing the board to rise out of the water and seemingly hover above the water’s surface.

In our beginner wing foil courses, every student receives their own instructor. Unlike in kitesurfing — where kite handling is initially practiced without a board — after a short theoretical introduction on the beach students proceed directly into the water with the wing and onto the board.

Just as with kitesurfing, you determine the point at which you no longer need an instructor with you in the water.
